The best week of the year

Ridderuka gives everyone who participates experiences for life. It is the world’s largest annual winter sports week for visually and mobility impaired. It has a rich sosial program that puts meetings between different people in focus. Whether you are a participant, companion, or a partner, you will experience a week of magical moments, new friendships, and outdoor experiences with others and with the Ridderrennet itself as a highlight in the end.

You get a permanent guide who helps you with the activities you want to try, whether it is out in the snow during the day of inside at various social events in the evening. It is also possible to bring your regular guide insted if this desired.

You get help to try different activities. Feel free to bring skis/equipment if you have it yourself, but we also have equipment available. You don’t need any prior knowledge to participate in our events. All you must do is to sign up and join an unforgettable week here at Beitostølen.

All the activities during the week are covered by the registration fee. This also includes chiropractors; we collaborate with the Norwegian Chiropractor Association who will provide help when you need it.

Through our collaboration with The Norwegian Institute of Sport / Inland Norway University of Applied Science, you get a safe guide-service from sports students. They help you during the week and are your permanent guide in all the activities.

Through various sport associations, we ensure professional implementation of all activities, such as kiting, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, snowboarding and biathlon to name a few.
